National Stroke Association provides an Advocacy Toolkit The Advocacy Toolkit is a comprehensive resource to help you become an informed and effective advocate for improving the care and quality of life of stroke survivors.
The Advocacy Toolkit includes background information on the legislative process, effective advocacy tactics and a variety of worksheets and resources to support and refine your advocacy efforts. Stroke fact sheets and policy backgrounders are also available to increase your knowledge and to share with others, including your legislators. You are encouraged to use the Advocacy Toolkit in whatever way is best for you – review each and every document or pick and choose those that are most fitting to your specific needs, opportunities and audiences.
